Ingredients
- 1,1/2-2 Tbsp butter
- 1/2 Cup crused American corn
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 5 Tbsp Fresh bread crumbs
- 1/2 Cup Amul Cheese
- 2 Tbsp All purpose flour ( Maida)
- 1 Tsp Oregano
- 1Tsp Dried Parsley
- 1 Tsp Dried Basil Leaves
- 1 Tsp Chilli Flakes
- Salt to Taste
- 2 Tbsp chopped Cilintro
Other Ingredients*
- All purpose flour Slurry ( Maida Slurry)
- Breadcrumbs to Coat
- Oil to Fry
Directions
- Heat the pan and add 1 1/2 – 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Add 1/2 Crused Corn and Satue them in butter until you smell the aroma. Approx. 2 -3 Mins
- Add 2 Tbsp of all purpose flour and cook it for 2 mins .
- Add 1/2 Cup of milk and cook until the mixture gets lumpy.
- Transfer the mixter to bowl and wait until it reached to room temperature.
- Now add 5 tbsp of fresh breadcrumbs, 1tsp chilie flakes, 1tsp Oregano, 1tsp dried parsley, 1tsp dried basil, 1/2 Cup Amul cheese and salt as per taste.
- Mix them all and prepare a soft dough . Make small balls according to size you like.
- Heat the oil for deep frying
- Dip each ball into all purpose flour slurry and roll then into the breadcrumbs and deep fry them at medium flame until they turn golden brown.

- I have used fresh corn cob. Frozen corn can be used too.
- To make fresh breadcrumbs. Take 3 bread slices microwave for 2 mins and blend them in processor.
- I have used regular breadcrumbs to coat the corn balls .
- Instead of frying you can bake them in oven at 350 Degrees for 15-20 mins.
